There is a lack of community awareness and people underestimate the severity of asthma in the maasai community.There are so many misconceptions and stigmas around people living with asthma in this community.We want to let them know that it is normal and they should not hide children suffering from asthma in their homes but they should bring them out to seek medical attention and to also get education on how to manage it.
